From the Mosque-Cathedral of Cordoba and the immense statue of Christ the King in Lisbon to the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela, this voyage highlights the central role played by Christianity in the history of Europe. Along the way Aegean Odyssey will take you to some of the most some stunning scenery including cruising the Gironde River to the city of Bordeaux, the wonderful West Coast of England and the dramatic landscapes in Iceland.

This departure also includes Normandy where you will visit elegant Deauville or the moving Museum of War and Peace in Caen. Sail to the port of Isafjordur on the edge of the Arctic Circle and on to Akureyri with its magnificent green pastures, waterfalls and whale-filled bays. Finally, a call at Husavik a charming harbor surrounded by snow-covered mountains, which is full of colorful houses and home to the geothermal Myvatn Nature Baths.
