Jamaica meets our Cuba Experience for a 13-day cruise-tour of these two magnificent islands, taking you from the UNESCO World Heritage site of Old Havana to the architectural wonder of Punta Gorda and the Botanical Gardens of Cienfuegos, colonial Trinidad, and Cuba’s second great metropolis, the birthplace of Bacardi, Santiago de Cuba.

Then sail south for five days of exploration in Jamaica, an island overflowing with music, cuisine, dance, art and architecture, alongside a warm Patois welcome, making it another diverse yet perfectly-sized destination for exploring aboard Aegean Odyssey. Beginning in the historic sugarcane port of Montego Bay, you’ll also visit Ocho Rios, Port Antonio and the capital of Kingston.

13 Jan Saturday Havana, Cuba Full day walking tour of Havana’s old quarter including the Baroque Roman Catholic cathedral. Visit a community arts project and meet with local artists at the San Jose market. Attend a private rehearsal by the Malpaso dance company and enjoy a guided tour of the Museo de Bellas Artes before an exclusive performance by members of the Buena Vista Social Club.     6.00pm 
14 Jan Sunday At sea Lectures & activities at sea      
15 Jan Monday Cienfuegos, Cuba Full day guided tour to Punta Gorda and the Botanical Gardens. Enjoy an exclusive musical performance by the children of the Cuban Union of Artists and Writers (UNEAC) and visit some artist studios near the city’s main square, Parque Marti. Then enjoy a private performance by the Chorus of Cienfuegos at the Tomas Terry Theatre.   8.00am  9.00pm 
16 Jan Tuesday Casilda for Trinidad, Cuba Full day of Trinidad’s Spanish colonial highlights, including the Museo Historico Municipal, the Museo de Arquitectura Trinitaria and a guided tour of the Museo Romantico. Meet the artist Lazaro Niebla (or visit the Crochet Project) and explore the historic Manaca Iznaga Sugar Plantation. Then see some traditional pottery being made.   8.00am  6.00pm 
17 Jan Wednesday At sea Lectures & activities at sea      
18 Jan Thursday Santiago de Cuba, Cuba Full day to El Morro castle and the house of Diego Velazquez, the oldest on the island. Meet with practitioners of the Santeria religion and witness the changing of the guard at Santa Ifigenia Cemetery. Enjoy a dance presentation by the Cutumba company and a scenic drive through Revolution Square and the Moncada Barracks.  8.00am  7.00pm 
19 Jan Friday Montego Bay, Jamaica Disembark Aegean Odyssey and transfer to hotel.  7.00am  overnight hotel 
20 Jan Saturday Montego Bay, Jamaica Take a guided tour of Greenwood Great House and discover Rose Hall a Georgian mansion.     overnight hotel 
21 Jan Sunday Montego Bay, Jamaica Spend a full day discovering Montego Bay    overnight hotel 
22 Jan Monday Ocho Rios, Jamaica Morning drive to Ocho Rios. Enjoy lunch at the hotel followed by Dunn's River sightseeing.    overnight hotel 
23 Jan Tuesday Kingston, Jamaica Morning drive to Port Antonio for sightseeing and lunch at Frenchman's Cove. Afternoon drive to Kingston for dinner and overnight.    overnight hotel 
24 Jan Wednesday Kingston, Jamaica Morning city sightseeing and Spanish Town (depending on flight departure time). Transfer to airport for flight home.
