2011 Cruise Itineraries Now on Sale; Offers a Variety of New Features, Inclusive Hotel Packages and Cruise Lengths
Aug 5, 2010

Voyages to Antiquity today announced the Aegean Odyssey’s 2011 schedule  is now on sale and offers a host of new features; included pre-and/or post-cruise hotel packages; a variety of shorter cruise lengths; new destinations and free air from more than 70 North American gateways for bookings made by December 31, 2010.

New for 2011:

To further enhance the destination experience, all itineraries in 2011 are designed as cruise-tours featuring a range of 7-12 night voyages with pre-and/or post-cruise hotel stays included in the fares in Rome, Athens, Istanbul, and Cairo.

  • Hotel stays include transfers to and from the airport and/or ship;
  • For those with less time, many cruise lengths have been shortened to 7-12 nights to facilitate a younger demographic, particularly during summer months. Passengers have the flexibility to opt out of the hotel stays and receive a credit against their cruise fare;
  • New destinations include a unique circumnavigation of the Black Sea region with ports in Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, and Bulgaria as well as destinations in Corsica, Sardinia and a return to Libya as part of two North Africa Itineraries;
  • Aegean Odyssey cruises feature an early booking incentive of FREE air from more than 70 North American gateways if booked by December 31, 2010.

“Our 2011 season not only offers new itineraries, but we have now packaged the product to be more flexible and appealing to younger travelers who may not have as much vacation time but are still looking for a culturally-stimulating vacation experience,” said Mitchell J. Schlesinger, vice president of sales and marketing for Voyages to Antiquity.

Extraordinary value is a hallmark with cruise fares starting from $3,295, including shore excursions with complimentary bottled water, gratuities to shipboard staff, wine, beer, and soft drinks at dinner.

After December 31, air is FREE from a selection of East coast gateways and $99 & $199 from the Midwest and Western Regions, including transfers and porterage.

Guest lecturers and celebrated speakers will continue to bring to life the art, history and culture of the Mediterranean.
