This cruise will take you to some of the most impressive and memorable ancient Greek and Roman monuments in the world. The journey begins at probably the most famous of these: Pompeii. You will then visit Herculaneum and the Doric temples of Paestum. Then it is on to Sicily where you will find the most spectacular Greek sites and the marvellous artistic and architectural achievements of Norman Sicily. The cruise also includes the Roman Palace of Diocletian in Split, Croatia. Finally, the Aegean Odyssey makes its way up the Adriatic to Venice.
